Our Survivor Support Services
Trin’Naz Helping Hands provides comprehensive Victims of Crime support to individuals facing violence, abuse, trafficking, stalking, or intimidation. Our trauma-informed team ensures survivors have immediate access to safety, healing, and stabilization services, including:
Crisis response and safety planning
Short-term transitional housing (6–12 months)
Separate male and female units for safety
Relocation assistance
Transportation support
Access to therapy (including for survivors without insurance)
Case management and referrals to legal, medical, and victim compensation programs
We maintain separate male and female housing units to ensure comfort, privacy, and safety.
We keep stays between 6–12 months to provide time for healing, access to counseling, and transition to permanent housing.
Our advocates and case managers work closely with survivors to create personalized plans — from safety planning to housing, therapy, legal aid, and resource coordination.
We partner with local law enforcement, mental health providers, public assistance programs, and community organizations to maximize support and follow-up services.
Who We Support
We serve survivors of:
Domestic violence
Sexual assault
Human trafficking
Stalking and harassment
Physical assault
Crimes against youth
Housing Pathways
When fleeing violence, survivors need immediate safety.
We offer:
Temporary safe shelter
Transitional housing for 6–12 months
Support navigating long-term housing programs.
Our housing programs prioritize privacy, dignity, and security.
Many survivors have no safe place to go, national and state victim-service programs recognize that transitional housing and emergency shelter are critical supports for victims of domestic violence, assault, human trafficking, and other crimes.
With these services, survivors get more than a roof — they get dignity, safety, and a chance for healing. They’re able to begin therapy, participate in their recovery, and work toward a stable, peaceful future.
These services are available to survivors of violent or traumatic crimes who need protection, safety, or supportive housing. We serve adults, youth, and families — all genders — who are seeking refuge from abuse, violence, homelessness, or other crisis situations.
Our services align with federal and state allowable activities under the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) and other victim-service funding guidelines: emergency shelter, crisis intervention, temporary and transitional housing, advocacy, mental health and counseling, relocation assistance, and support for safety and stabilization.
